Peterson Development and Consulting was started as a Limited Liability Company in 2003 by Mark Peterson and Michael Hanchett. Throughout that time, the name Peterson Development and Consulting has gained a reputation for the highest quality residential projects. We continue to personally bring our integrity, expertise and customer satisfaction to every project we undertake.

Our Team

Mark D Peterson

Mark, President of Peterson Development and Consulting, takes a personal stake and is involved in each phase of construction, from conception to delivery of the finished product. He works closely with the clients locating, purchasing properties, architectural design requirements, contracting estimates, and supervising construction staff. In addition, Mark’s experience includes 3 years as Owner/Vice President of Caliber Construction and Consulting and 2 years with DST Construction both of Park City, Utah. Mark is responsible for delivering Custom Homes to thrilled customers with one goal: to Exceed Customer Expectations. Mark and his wife Kim live in North Scottsdale with their three beautiful children.

Michael C Hanchett

Michael, Executive Vice President of Peterson Development and Consulting. Mike also takes a personal stake and is involved in each phase of construction from conceptions to delivery of the finished product. He drives project management, subcontractors, and construction inspections and supervises staff. In addition, Mike’s experience includes 6 years with Del Webb’s Coventry Homes as Construction Superintendent and Senior Contract Administrator. Mike also served as a Superintendent/Estimator for Empire Construction and firm Foundations in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Mike’s number one goal is to Exceed Customer Expectations. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management with a minor in business Management from Brigham Young University. He and his wife Donna live in the North Phoenix area with their four children.

Renee Clock

Renee is the Office/Accounting Manager for Peterson Development and Consulting. She is responsible for sub-contractor bids, contracts and insurance. She is also responsible for driving the projects through the plan check process for gaining permits, arranging construction inspections, project management, customer services as well as accounts receivable and payables. Renee is available to answer any questions that our clients may have regarding our process or course of construction. Renee’s educational background is Accounting and Human Resources through Santa Clara Community College. She and her husband Dan currently live in Cave Creek with their two children.

Scott Brown

Scott is the Project Manager and Superintendent for Peterson Development and Consulting. He is involved in all aspects of the job from scheduling subcontractors, verifying work is being done per plans and specifications and ensures county inspection criteria is met. Scott as extensive experience in Framing, Concrete and Electrical and was Construction superintendent for Caliber Construction of Park City, Utah for 4 years. He also has 5 years of pervious experience with various construction companies in Utah. Scott and his wife Meagan moved from Park City, Utah in 2005 and now lives at Anthem with their 3 children.
